MATERIALITY COLLECTION

‘Materiality’ is the 5th collection that Emma Elizabeth has created for Australian rug company; Designer Rugs.  By creating a flay lat still life series of images, stylised by Emma using material samples like that of an interior project mood board. The photographic images were then translated to form the new rug textiles works.

These works can be customised in different colour ways and or commissioned, where Emma Elizabeth can create on request a bespoke version of your own projects ‘Materiality’ for specific projects. The manipulation of scale and perception forms this graphic collection hand tufted in woo and bamboo. First launched during Milan Design Week 2019 as part of LOCAL DESIGN Milan No.4 in the 5 Vie District.
